San Felipe/Rio Lagartos Mexico Fly Fishing
 Pesca Mexicana is now offering guided Fly
and Light Tackle Tarpon fishing packages in San Felipe de Yucatan. Located
approximately 2 hours northwest of Cancun, San Felipe is a quaint, friendly
fishing village at the top of the Yucatan Peninsula where the Rio Lagartos
meets the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. San Felipe is a little known and
unspoiled area in the Rio Lagartos National Park. Local Tarpon range from 5 to
50 pounds and produce spectacular aerobatics when hooked. We are presently
offering two packages to meet the budgets and expectations of the traveling
angler.
Our Mini Package includes:
- Roundtrip transportation from Cancun's International
Airport
- 4 nights accommodations at San Felipe's finest hotel
(based on double occupancy)
- 3 full days of Tarpon fishing with a professional
English speaking guide
- At $995.00 per angler, this fishing adventure is priced
to accommodate the traveling angler on a budget (Minimum 2 Anglers)
Our Maxi Package includes:
- Roundtrip transportation from Cancun's International
Airport
- 6 nights accommodations at San Felipe's finest
hotel
- 5 full days of Tarpon fishing with a professional
English speaking guide
- At $1,395.00 per angler, the Maxi Package is one of the
Yucatan's best fishing values (Minimum 2 Anglers)
Our fishing packages do not include morning or evening meals
but local restaurants are plentiful and very inexpensive. All restaurants and
amenities are located within a minutes walking distance of the hotel. You will
find the San Felipe locals are very friendly and the village is exceptionally
clean.
Most anglers prefer to use their own tackle. In the event
you do not have sufficient tackle or your tackle is damaged in transit, we
furnish quality rods (FlyLogic) and reels (Scientific Anglers Mastery &
Orvis Odyssey) at no extra cost.

A Mexican Fishing License is now required and
is presently $10.00 USD per day or $45.00 USD a week per angler. Our guides
will take care of all necessary fishing license requirements on the day of your
booking. Sorry, we do not accept personal checks, travelers checks or
Credit Cards for payment…its Mexico, cash only please (expect exchange
conversion for payment in Peso's). |
